Cebu to Bohol Ferry: How Long It Takes & Which Pier

Updated Sep 30, 2026 · Philippines Ferry

The Cebu–Bohol corridor is the busiest fastcraft route in the Visayas, but travel times differ a lot between operators and vessel types.

Fastcraft: about 2 hours

OceanJet and SuperCat run fast catamarans from Cebu Pier 1 to Tagbilaran Port in around 2 hours. Departures run from early morning to late afternoon. These are the right choice for day trips and tight schedules.

RoRo via Lite Ferries: around 4.5 hours

Lite Ferries runs slower RoRo vessels, roughly 4–4.5 hours. Slower, but usually cheaper, and it's the option if you're bringing a motorbike or car to Bohol.

Alternative Bohol ports

If your destination is Anda or eastern Bohol, ferries to Jagna, Ubay, Talibon or Tubigon (served from Cebu) can cut your land travel. Tubigon is the closest Bohol port to Cebu — around 1–1.5 hours by fastcraft — with vans to Tagbilaran taking about 1.5 hours.
